The Lion Launch Pad website is back, after being thrown to the side for a couple months following the breakup with The Blue Line. Although the new website no longer offers dynamic content, it is much better structured and cleaner than the previous one built on the Wild Apricot content management system.

Lion Launch Pad is an independent business accelerator that helps PSU undergraduates get up and running with their startups. Actually, the idea for this non-profit organization was conceived by a recent IST graduate, Robert Shedd (Class of ‘07), who wrote about it in a senior honors thesis for the Schreyers Honors College. Rob’s thesis was titled “Inspiring Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Through Incubators” and inspired the development of an organized launching pad to transport business ideas to become real ventures.
