Startup Weekend is, as the name suggests, a weekend-long event for web application development. Pulling in a variety of talent from the area, the goal is a develop a solid application over the course of a weekend.

Startup Weekend is a networking opportunity as well as being a fun “entrepreneurship” activity. If the event goes as planned, there should be hundreds of people participating who are interested in startups. It would be the ideal place to meet co-founders for your next startup.
