Many student have been wondering what the new IST job posting site will be since the College phased out ISTechTrak.
According to an email sent out by Madhavi Kari, Interim Director of Career Solutions, ISTechTrak became obsolete because MonsterTRAK no longer supported the software, although the details are beyond my understanding. If you have more insight into this, please do share.

Today we opened up a new job board at IST Building. The IST Building job board is intended to be an alternative rather than a replacement for "ISTechTrak" (I wonder who came up with this hard-to-remember name that is spelled in a completely retarded way). Our vision is to provide an outlet for smaller companies and startups to approach IST students and graduates with employment opportunities.

While browsing through Guy Kawasaki's blog, I noticed a job listing for a web 2.0 startup in State College, PA called Drizzoo. I've never heard of Drizzoo before, even though it's right here in town, but their website looks really slick and they have an interesting concept for "new weather."

We want to help keep IST students connected over the summer break through this site. Think about it this way. You have access to your limited group of IST friends on Facebook, but IST Building can broadcast your voice to the entire IST community.
